The BC Condo Reveal

Our first big renovation project is in the books, and the BC Condo looks incredible.

If you remember, back in March, we undertook the giant task of renovating my husband’s townhouse. Built in 1984, it was extremely dated. To sell it, we knew we needed to renovate to give it some modern touches. Our main focus: kitchen, bathrooms (3), and paint.

Renovated modern kitchen

We spent the majority of our time and budget on the kitchen. Considering I can’t even recognize it when I walk in the door, I’d say it was money well-spent.

In the bathrooms, we also added some sweet touches, including a fun tile accent wall upstairs.

While we worked on the inside, the HOA actually began work on the outside at the perfect time. They painted the exterior a sweet blue, replaced any wood with more durable composite materials, and installed new exterior lighting.

Coupled with new appliances and a brand new A/C system, the future owners of our little townhouse won’t have anything to do but unpack and enjoy the spoils of our hard work.

I’ll be breaking down this project more in-depth in the upcoming weeks, including why we relied on reclaimed materials in some of our work. Stay tuned!
